Holy Redeemer School emerges as champions.
Belthangady: ‘Practise makes one perfect, hard work makes one successful’.
Holy Redeemer English Medium School brought laurels home by winning the Taluk Level Handball Tournament, held in St Theresa’s School, Belthangady, on August 25th.
Primary school girls team and High school girls team won the Champions Trophy and qualified for the district-level tournament. whereas primary school boys and High school boys emerge as runners-up. Students also won many individual awards for their performances.
Suzanna Serrao in Primary school girls category and Janis Vinisha D’Souza in High school girls category were awarded as the best shooters.
Manvith in Primary school boys category and Kiran in High school boys category were awarded Best Shooters.
Minaal Joseph in Primary school girls category and Deepthi in High school girls category were awarded Best Goal Keepers.
The students were trained by the Physical Education Teacher Mr Sharath Pinto. Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the students for the victory.
