Ever since DSC is elected every month, intercessory prayers are led for the Diocese of Shimoga together with the prayer warriors of the Diocese of Shimoga. The first three night vigil intercessions were conducted at the “Sannidhi” Pastoral Renewal Centre of the Diocese of Shimoga. Then the DSC decided to move to the Parishes with the same concept. The first outreach was done at St. Joseph’s Church in Sagar with the blessings of Monsignor Felix Joseph Noronha, parish priest of St. Joseph’s Church in Sagar. Karnataka Regional Service of Communion (KRSC) helped in leading this vigil.

This is the second parish where DSC led the night vigil together with the faithful.

This year, the Diocese of Shimoga DSC also initiated the Pentecost Night Vigil at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shivamogga. A good number of faithful took part in the vigil.

In the coming days, DSC has planned to move out of every parish of the Diocese of Shimoga. Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of the Diocese of Shimoga, blessed the DSC and asked to initiate this intercession for the Diocese and for the world.
