Mangaluru: In the state-level essay competition conducted By Disha Bharat under ‘My Bharat’ Campaign Kum. Reshel Bretny Fernandes of Surathkal, Dakshina Kannada, won second place. She is the daughter of teachers Nancy and Ronald Fernandes.
She was felicitated with the prize at Dayananda Sagara College of Dental Sciences, Bengaluru, on September 23, 2023, by Dr.Ganesh Bhat, an educational scholar; Mr.Arun Molahalli, editor of Utthana magazine; Dr. Hemanth, principal of Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences; and Mrs.Rekha Ravichandran, founder and trustee of the Disha Bharat Organisation, were present on the dias.
