National Science Day observed at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady

Mangaluru: Science club members of Holy Redeemer English Medium School celebrated National Science Day on February 28th creatively.

The program began by seeking God’s blessings. Gowrish of class 9 welcomed the gathering wholeheartedly. Prajnesh of class 9 narrated the significance of National Science Day. 

Club members from classes 1 to 9 performed various activities depicting how science plays a pivotal role in daily life. Performances included a song, a poem, and a dance on scientific aspects. The basic nature of the solar system and the vitality of fruits were enacted. The achievements and contributions of various Indian scientists were remembered. 

Vaishnavi, Royline, and Aleena of class 9 demonstrated simple experiments and conducted interactive laboratory activities. 

Headmaster Rev.Fr Clifford Pinto appreciated and encouraged the students to love science. 

Manvitha of class 9 proposed the vote of thanks. Lavisha DCosta of class 9 compered the program. During the school assembly, the science oath was taken by all students and teachers to inculcate a scientific approach and develop a love for science.

Club mentors, teachers Preetha D’Souza and Mary Suja, guided the students.
