St.Theresa’s School celebrates Children’s Day

Mangaluru: Children’s Day is celebrated every year on 14th November to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The teachers of St.Theresa’s School emerged with a special programme for the students.
The programme began by invoking God ‘ s grace which was followed by a prayer song and dance.. Various intentions for the good health of children were offered to the almighty.
Few spot games were conducted for the students and chocolates were distributed to the winners.
The mesmerizing performance of the day were the evergreen Bollywood dances of 80 ‘s n 90’ s .A comedy skit based on classroom situation was enacted by the teachers brought cheer to the students.
The wishing song highlighted that children are precious to the teachers. Sr. Lourdes congratulated all the teachers for their stupendous performance. Sister encouraged the students to climb the ladder of success and to never look back.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Std.X Headboy and Headgirl.
The students were overwhelmed with the efforts of the teachers and applauded the teachers for their commendable performance.
The Principal, Sr.Lourdes,Vice Principal, Sr. Caron and student representatives, guests of Honour ,Headboy- Nikhil Thomas and Headgirl -Ananya Shetty were present along with the students of Std. V and Std. X.
Live streaming of the programme was telecasted on YouTube due to the pandemic, for the rest of the students who could not attend the programme in school. Overall the programme was fantabulous and will always remain a memory to one and all.
