St Joseph Engineering College wins Best Project of the Year Award at 43rd KSCST SPP
Mangaluru: Continuing its tradition of securing sponsorship and excelling in the Project Exhibitions organized by Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology (KSCST), students of St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, won two,“Best Project of the Year Award” under KSCST 43rd Series of Student Projects Programme (SPP).
For the academic year 2019-2020, a total of 13 students’ project proposals from SJEC were approved for KSCST sponsorship. Out of these, the followingtwoprojects bagged the Best Project Award:
1. Design and Fabrication of Combined Wheelchair and Bed
Mr Preetham A Almeida, Mr Naveen G Chalwadi, Mr Paramvir Singh Chambyal and Mr Rion Francis Pinto, carried out this project under the guidance of Mr Yathish Kumar K and Dr Binu KG from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
2. Eye in the Sky
Mr Sushan Sapaliga, Ms Princy Paul D’Silva, Ms Rachel Pinto and Ms SB Shubra, carried out this project, under the guidance of Ms Vijetha U from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
