St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, launches AGNOFEST-CELESTIA 2023
Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, launched its annual intercollegiate national level fest titled Celestia 2023 for the academic year 2023–24 on October 9, 2023, on the college grounds. This is a cultural fest for both undergraduate and pre-university-level students in the country.
The Principal Sr Dr. M. Venissa A.C., unveiled the logo and title of the fest that were imprinted on an expansive banner in the presence of the student cabinet, the staff, and the student body. The atmosphere was charged with cheer, music, and dance.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal congratulated the student leaders and volunteers for their enthusiasm and efforts and wished them all the very best for the fest. The staff coordinator, Mrs. Geeta Nazareth, PG Department of Chemistry, also addressed the gathering and said that the wondrous title “Celestia” is inspired by the recent Chandrayan and the human sense of wonderment about the universe and beyond. She encouraged the students to stand together and make this fest a memorable event for all.
