The Resource Person for the session, Mrs. Crystal Rodrigues, an alumna of the college and currently a research scholar at NITK, Surathkal, addressed the gathering on the topic by introducing the topic and gauging our understanding of the term ‘Financial Literacy’.
She continued by making the session a two way discussion among the students and herself and resumed with discussing the objectives and the necessity of being financially literate, narrating her own experience. The students were then asked to fill a questionnaire where they were tested on their financial literacy level and the talk ended with memes that invoked laughter among the gathering and credible sources where they could learn and gather information regarding the same topic.
