Seminar on ‘New Arenas open to Chemistry Graduates’ organized at of St Agnes College (Autonomous)
Mangaluru: The Post Graduate Department of Chemistry of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a seminar Seminar on ‘New Arenas open to Chemistry Graduates’
on 27 May 2022. The programme started by 2.30 p.m. with a prayer song led by Ms Sneha Treesa and group followed by welcoming the gathering by Ms Amritha. The guest was offered a token of love by Mrs Likitha U, Assistant Professor, P.G. Department of Chemistry.
Mr Subin gave a brief introduction about the resource person Dr Vijesh A. M., Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Payyanur College, Kerala, who was the speaker of the day. It was followed by lecture talk from Dr Vijesh A. M. He gave different criteria for selecting a career and how to achieve it. He also made the students of Chemistry understand the different types of job opportunities after becoming a chemistry graduate or post graduate. He also briefed about the different colleges and different courses offered by them after M.Sc. The programme ended by 4.30 p.m. with the vote of thanks given by Ms Anusree. Undergraduate and postgraduate students of Chemistry were the beneficiaries.
The M.C. for the event was Ms Anjali from first year M.Sc.
