National level Webinar on the topic “Is Our Healthy Diet Really Healthy?” held at Milagres College

Mangaluru: The Department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on August 5, 2020 organized a national level webinar on the topic “Is Our Healthy Diet Really Healthy?”

The Resource Person for the webinar was Dr. Cletus J.M D’Souza , Adjunct Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Mangalore University.

The webinar aimed at creating awareness on healthy food and to lead a healthier lifestyle. The platform for the webinar was Google Meet and You tube and around 220 participated.Teaching fraternities, dietitians, nutritionist and students from all over India participated.

Principal Rev.Fr. Michael Santhumayor welcomed the attendees and Mrs Ashwitha, Department of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics compered the webinar.
