Mount Carmel Students journey into the colourful and magical world of the Butterflies

Mangaluru: The students of grade IV at Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, were excited, enthused and energized to work on the project “Life of a Butterfly”. The introduction presented by the teachers through a PPT gave the students an insight into the different stages in the life of a butterfly. They also had the joy of watching butterflies in nature around the school campus. This was followed by exhibiting their learning through art in the form of drawing, crafts, songs, and acting. They spiked the project by taking part in the essay writing competition. This was followed by a talk on biodiversity. A few of the parents supported this project by taking their wards to the butterfly park at Moodbidri.

It was indeed heartwarming to see the students enthused and energetic as they took part in the project and learned the life cycle of a butterfly, as well as lessons for life from the butterfly.
