9th day: The novena preceding the feast of the relic of St. Anthony was held at Milagres Church

Mangaluru: The novena preceding the feast of St. Anthony’s relic was held at Milagres Church on the 9th day.

Theme for the Day: “Saint Anthony gave glory to God through his tongue.” The Novena Mass for the relic feast of St. Anthony was held at Milagres Church at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Fr. Stanley Pinto, Campus Director of St. Philomena College, was the main celebrant for mass. In his homily, he spoke on the theme by highlighting different examples from the Bible and the life of St. Anthony. Rev. Fr. J. B. Crasta and Rev. Fr. Rupesh Tauro celebrated the mass.

At the end of the mass, Fr. Rupesh conducted the novena in honour of St. Anthony, during which special prayers were offered for the benefactors of St. Anthony Ashram. The choir group from St Anthony’s Ashram sang and participated in the Thanksgiving service.
