7th Intercessory Prayer for the Diocese, held at Infant Jesus Church, Sharavathinagar, Shimoga

Shimoga, October 30, 2023: 7th Intercessory Prayer for the Diocese of Shimoga, held at Infant Jesus Church, Sharavathinagar, Shimoga, on October 29th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Diocese of Shimoga’s Charismatic Renewal Services, namely, the Diocesan Service of Communion (DSC), together with the Legion of Mary and the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP), held an intercessory prayer for the intentions of the Diocese of Shimoga.

At 2 p.m., Spiritual Director Fr Franklin D’Souza exposed the Blessed Sacrament and led the worship till 3 p.m.From 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., DSC members led the Intercessory Rosary and Divine Mercy. Each decade is dedicated to the four deaneries, their Parishes, their faithful, and their intentions. One decade dedicated to the Diocese and all its commissions and pastoral activities

Then Fr Franklin D’Souza led Prayer for the Districts, States and nation. He also led the prayer for peace in the world. At 4:45 p.m., he led the healing prayers for the participants. At 5:15 p.m., he led the Holy Eucharist and thanked God for the intercessory prayer.

Fr. Biju, Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Sharavathinagar, Shimoga, thanked Fr Franklin D’Souza and the DSC, SVP, and Legion of Mary for organizing this intercessory prayer.
