YCS/YSM Mangalore Annual Magazine ‘YUVATARE’ Released
Mangaluru: The YCS/YSM Mangalore Diocesan Annual Magazine ‘YUVATARE 2020’ was released today on Saturday, 1st of August,2020 at 11:00 AM in the Daijiworld Office. Mr Walter Nandalike – Managing Director of DaijiWorld, Fr Rupesh Madtha- Director of YCS/YSM Mangalore Diocese, Mr Francis Dcunha- Resource Person for YCS/YSM, Mr Prajwal Sequeira – Diocesan YCS/YSM Animator, Mr Mervin Vas – Diocesan YCS/YSM Coordinator along with a few Central Council members like Mr Rishanth Fernandes, Ms Carol Santhumayor, Ms Samantha Saldanha (Student Editor) and Ms Megan Crasta were present for the release of the magazine. Mr Richard Alvares Kulshekar also has done his toil for the book as honorary editor.
Mr. Mervin welcomed the gathering. Fr. Rupesh and Mr Francis spoke a few words in appreciation to Mr Nandalike who has been doing a marvelous job through his media especially during the lock down. Later the magazine was released by Mr. Walter Nandalike. A memento was presented to him by the Council members.
The magazine is published under the theme ‘Protect and Promote Life’ and gives opportunity to members to explore their innate literary talents. YCS / YSM is an international Movement of Catholic Church which also has membership in UNESCO. The Movement consists of 155 units in the diocese with 200 animators along with 4,500 student members. It has more than 2 million members all over the world.
