‘The World Thinking Day’ – Cubs and Bulbuls of Mount Carmel in full swing

Mangaluru: The Cubs and Bulbuls of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru celebrated ‘The World Thinking Day’ in the school Auditorium on February 22, 2023. Sr Carissima the administrator, teacher Dhanyashree the chief guest, the parents and the teachers were present for the programme, which commenced with a prayer, creative welcome, the B.P. exercises, followed by taking the Cubs and Bulbuls promise.

Teacher Dhanyashree, the guide captain of the school graced the occasion as chief guest. The theme, ‘Our World, our Peaceful Future’ was depicted well through various forms such as a Mime Show on saving water, a dance on nourishing nature, song etc. The students also viewed a video on ‘Tara’s Story’ followed by an interaction with the children as to what they learnt from Tara, the values they imbibed and the students shared spontaneously. The chief guest teacher Dhanyashree inspired the students through a meaningful message on the motto of Cubs and Bulbuls, doing their best in everything they do. The programme ended with vote of thanks.
