St Philomena College Students Advance to Final Interview Round with PayPal Multinational Company

Puttur 21 April 2024: St Philomena College announced that 41 of its final-year BCA students have been shortlisted for the final interview stage with PayPal, a leading multinational company. This opportunity follows their successful completion of a Customer Relationship Management Certificate course, sponsored by Honeywell Company, at the outset of the 2023–24 academic year.

After participating in the intensive course, all 118 students passed the four levels of examinations conducted by the sponsoring company and received certificates. Of these, 41 have been chosen for the final round of interviews at PayPal. “We are thrilled that our students are progressing to the final interview stage at PayPal. They face two more rounds of interviews, and if successful, they will secure customer solution roles with an attractive annual salary package of 6 lakh rupees,” stated Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal of the College. He further highlighted the ongoing initiatives of the college to foster partnerships with more multinational corporations for certificate courses and campus recruitment. An agreement with Palo Alto, a prominent company, has already been established to provide internships for students.

Furthermore, six BCA students and two B.Com. students are slated for final interviews with Palle Technologies, marking another significant recruitment opportunity for the students of the college. Dr Monteiro assured that the selected candidates would receive thorough guidance to prepare for their interviews.
