St Philomena College Holds Workshop on ‘Global Communication: Mastering Language, Etiquette and Composure’

Puttur 30 November: The PG Department of Social Work, Centre for PG Studies and Research, organized a workshop in collaboration with the Department of English St Philomena College, Puttur, as part of its Skill Enhancement Program Series on November 27, 2023, at the PG Seminar Hall of the College.

Mrs Bharathi S. Rai, HOD, Department of English, participated as a resource person for the day. She shared her knowledge with regard to the significance of etiquette and composure, along with the mastery of language necessary to become a successful professional.

Prof. Ganesh Bhat K, Vice Principal, presided over the formal program and urged the participants to know the professional subtleties and to get prepared to face the world with the skills necessary to fight the battle of professional life.

Ms Rachel Sylvester, MSW Student rendered Prayer, Mrs Srimani welcomed, Mr Koushika introduced the resource person, Ms Saritha proposed a vote of thanks, and Mr Akil Thomas compered the program. Mrs Srimani, Coordinator, of the PG Department of Social Work, Mrs Prathibha, and Mr Sheethal Assistant Professors of the PG Department of Social Work, extended necessary support in the conduct of the Work shop. 31 MSW students were the beneficiaries. Certificates were distributed following the workshop.
