Mangaluru, Mar. 4: According to an official press release from the Diocese of Mangalore, the diocese distances itself from Robert Rosario, who is misrepresenting himself as a Catholic leader and taking part in numerous media conversations without authorization.
The diocese would like to make it clear that Robert Rosario has not been given permission or asked to speak on behalf of the Catholic community by the diocese’s official authorities. People are free to voice their ideas and beliefs, but the media release states that it is entirely untrue and deceptive to say that Robert Rosario is a leader who speaks for all Catholics.
The Mangalore diocese highlights that Robert Rosario is acting solely in his individual capacity. His opinions and remarks as a spokesperson for the Catholic community are not supported by the diocese. It is not asserted that he has received formal authorization or power from the relevant ecclesiastical authorities. The diocese continued, “This is a complete lie.”
