Mount Carmel students perform excellently well in the AICS Football Tourneys
Mangaluru: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, rejoiced greatly as their football teams, both girls and boys, returned triumphantly with the trophies and medals won in the AICS Football tournaments.
In the U-14 football tournaments held at Amritha Vidyalaya, Mangaluru, on October 26th and 27th, 2023, the school’s U-14 girls’ team emerged as winners and the U-14 boys’ team bagged runner-up position, while Ashish H was awarded the “best goalkeeper” prize.
In the U-17 football tournament organized earlier by Yenepoya School, the U-17 girls’ team emerged as runners-up, and Shreya Kottary of grade IX was crowned the “best goalkeeper” of the tournament.
The school management, principal, and staff congratulated the football players for their brilliant performances and wished them well in their future events.
