Inter-religious tournament by Catholic Sabha, Angelore

Mangaluru: The Angelore Unit of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R), in association with the Inter-Religious Dialogue Commission of the parish, organized an inter-religious volleyball tournament for men and a throw-ball tournament for women on December 10, 2023.

The tournament took place on the Capitanio School grounds. Thirteen volleyball teams and ten throw-ball teams from the city and city episcopal deaneries of the Mangalore Diocese participated in the tournament. Two eminent sports personalities of the parish, Mr. Pradeep D’Souza and Mr. Raymond D’Souza of the Mr. World fame, were felicitated during the event.

The trophy for volleyball was lifted by Bondel Team A, while the runners-up were Bondel Team B. The throw-ball trophy was lifted by the Bondel team, and Vamanjoor were the runners-up.
