Holy Redeemer School students excel in the Taluk-level Athletic meet

‘Practise and perspiration make one perfect and successful’

Belthangady: Holy Redeemer School students excel in the Taluk-level Athletic Meet for Primary and High School boys and girls, held on October 28th in Bajire.

The athletic meet was jointly organised by the School Education and Literacy Department, the Block Education Office of Belthangady, and Venoor Grama Panchayath in Government Primary School, Bajire.

Alston DSilva of class 8 secured first place in 600m and 400m running and second place in 200m running. He was also awarded the individual championship.

Velona Rego of class 10 secured first place in the walk race.

Shreyas of class 7 secured first place in the 400-meter run.

Manvith of class 7 secured third place in the discus throw.

Alston DSilva, Vivan Pinto, Rehanth, and Prajwal, all of class 8, secured third place in Relay.

Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the participants and winners. Physical Education Teacher Mr Sharath Pinto trained and guided the students.
