Department of Civil Engineering, SJEC, successfully organized A “Three Days Training on DCET 2023”

Mangaluru: A “Three Days Training on DCET 2023” was organized in the Department of Civil Engineering from August 31 to September 2, 2023. The program was aimed at equipping students with knowledge from all the branches who have completed diplomas in 2023 and are willing to write current-year DCET.

After a briefing about the training and a short introduction by the program coordinator, Mr. Rohith Prakash, the training program began as per the schedule and continued for the remaining days. The wide varieties of subjects were scheduled as per the syllabus of DCET 2023, and the contents were delivered by domain experts from various departments. Two and a half days of training ended with a concluding remark from the Head of the Department, Civil Engineering, Dr. Yajnheswaran B, followed by a campus tour where students visited the labs, facilities, and amenities of SJEC.

“Mock DCET 2023” was conducted on the afternoon session of the Third Day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Out of 39 registered students, 21 turned up and benefited from the training provided. The three-day training conducted by faculty and experts from various disciplines helped equip students with the knowledge and courage to face DCET 2023.
