A Glance at the Remarkable Achievements of the Students of Mount Carmel

Mangaluru: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, is proud to announce the exceptional achievements of its students in various sports and other competitions. The dedication and hard work of our students have brought forth outstanding results in multiple tournaments.

In the Shimogga Open 4th International Karate Championship 2023 organized by the Karnataka State Karate Association, Lavith Kumar from grade III exhibited his martial arts prowess and secured the 3rd place in the U-8 category; Ashel Nia D’Souza from grade VI demonstrated her skills and secured the 3rd place in the U-10 category; and Sharvin Prinson D’Souza from grade IV showcased his martial arts skills by securing the 3rd place.

At the State Level Kids Athletic Meet held in Bangalore on August 6th, Ethan Pais from grade III showcased his athleticism and secured 3rd place in long jump in the U-10 category.

In the Wiz Kid Carnival’s All India Handwriting Champs June 2023 Challenge, Angela Sarah D’Almeida from grade V exhibited impeccable penmanship and claimed the coveted first place. In the field of dance, Piyali S from grade VI showcased her talent and secured 2nd place in Bharatanatyam under Bala Vibhaga at the Sharada Mahotsava held at Sharada Vidyalaya on August 5th.

Pranvi Akshay of the Nursery Section won 1st place in the “My Daddy, My Hero” competition held on August 6th at Jaycee English Medium School, Karkala.

In the Ultimate India Quiz, organized by the Mangalore Quizzing Association in association with Vinaya Hospital and Research Centre on August 14, 2023, Shanthanu Vaibhav Anish and Vidyuth Ajith Soman from grade X showcased their strategic acumen and claimed the 2nd place in the senior category; Angela Sarah D’Almeida from grade V showcased her quizzing skills and secured the 2nd place in the junior category and Sara Athmika Menezes from grade V added to the accolades with a well-deserved third place.

These achievements underscore the dedication, talent, and hard work of our students. Mount Carmel Central School is proud to nurture and support such outstanding individuals who shine in various sports and other events.
