600 youth took part in an inter-Organizational Anti-Drug WALKATHON  

Mangaluru: Heeding to the call of most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha Bishop of Mangalore, an inter-Organizational Anti-Drug WALKATHON  Was Organized by CODP/Bandhavya, Paduva College of Commerce and Management,White Doves, and Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh®.

The above Organizers along with collaborators like Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work and St. Agnes College, marched a 2km WALKATHON from Padua/CODP Campus Nanthoor to Bendur Church campus.

The program was concluded with an awareness talk on the NDPS Act by Karnataka Lokayuktha Police. Dakshina Kannada, SP C.A. Simon. Dr Rohan spoke on the side effects of drugs. Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro delivered the presidential address, asking youth to be useful and powerful youngsters in young India. program was compered by Mr Roshan Lecturer of Padua College Nanthoor. Fr Vincent Dsouza, Director of CODP, welcomed the gathering. Fr. Arun Lobo, Principal of the college, proposed a vote of thanks. Refreshments for 600 youth were served.
