Youth Red Cross Orientation Program held at Padua College of Commerce and Management

Mangaluru: The Youth Red Cross (YRC) orientation program aimed to educate participants about humanitarian values, unity, and volunteerism, fostering a sense of responsibility and community engagement among the youth.

On October 12, 2023, the Youth Red Cross orientation program took place at Padua College of Commerce and Management. The event was presided over by the President, Rev. Fr Arun Wilson Lobo,Principal Padua College of Commerce and Management.

The resource person, Mr. Sacheth Suvarna, delivered an enlightening session on humanitarian values, emphasizing the

significance of unity and volunteerism in our society. His presentation resonated with the audience and encouraged them to embrace a spirit of humanity and selfless service.

Vice Principal and Prog Officer Prof. Roshan Santhumayor and Asst. Prog Officers Prof. Akshatha and Mrs Zeena,YRC unit leader Ms Khathija Farah and Mr Manju were present for the program.

Ms. Jenisha efficiently compered the event, ensuring a smooth flow of the program and engaging the participants effectively.

The vote of thanks was expressed by Ms. Jyothi, who conveyed gratitude to all the attendees.

The orientation program succeeded in achieving its objective of enlightening the

participants by instilling a sense of responsibility and promoting community engagement among the youth.
