Young author and orator Ms.Reshel Bretny Fernandes publishes book Light of Education Brightens the World
Mangaluru: The book ‘Light of Education Brightens the World’ is published by Tanisha Publications, New Delhi, which focuses on education that is based on the idea that education is not just classroom education but that education must ignite that power, which will instill the inner potential to be a useful member of society and stand for development.
Education shall be utilised as a mode to build the society with knowledge, and that takes place when we tend to build whatever is gained in the education and implement it into the betterment.


Education is just not the bookish knowledge, but it is the experience that we gain in order to regenerate a mindset towards active participation and remove the negativity in the society, forwarding nation and world development.
It’s not just about formal education, but education means to behave in society with meaningfulness, respecting values, and promoting harmony, acquiring those skills for a better human society, and looking forward to a holistic approach with creating opportunities to have economic stability.

Ms. Reshel Bretny Fernandes, born on 30-10-2002 at Surathkal, Mangaluru, daughter of Mr. Ronald and Mrs. Nancy (teachers), is a young author, writer, thinker, researcher, and orator who has accomplishments at international, national, state, and other levels. In literary activities. She has completed schooling from DPS MRPL Mangalore and P.U. from Ladyhill Victoria PU College with State 7th Rank and District First Rank in the Arts stream and B.A. in Hindi from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha and also B.A. general (History, Economics, Political Science) from Sri Mahaveera College Moodbidri and secured 2nd rank in Mangalore University. She is presently pursuing an LL.B. at S.D.M. LAW COLLEGE Mangaluru. Also having pursued certificate courses in disaster management, human resource management, and public health management. Also having an interest to study public administration. She has presented 10 articles in international and national journals. Also is an active volunteer in two organizations Disha Bharat and Samartha Bharata. Also attended national-level webinars relating to various topics and actively won and participated in literary activities while being a student at Sri Mahaveera College.
She has been awarded the Rabindranath Tagore Literature Award and the Bharatiya Sahitya Sanman 2024 by the Dawn Research and Development Council for literary excellence and other honours. She has more than 150 achievements in the literary field. She has written essays on topics like Bharat in Amritkaal, the role of youth, Bharat and the freedom movement, the Swaraj @75, India since Independence, and essays on Swami Vivekananda. She has published a book, ESSAYS ON COLLECTIVE TOPICS, by Taneesha Publications, which has been successful in 2024. In August 2024 she published a book on the magnificent topic BHARAT @2047 ROLE OF YOUTH, whereby she is the first young author to write on such a topic, whereby she was awarded the AUTHOR OF NEW ERA AWARD by Authors of New India Award 2024 and won the Rabindranath Tagore book award by DRDC for the book.
Also awarded with the International Kalam Award by Kalam Edu-versity for literary achievements.
She has also taken part actively in many youth parliaments. She is known for presenting her books to dignitories seeking applause for her book.
