‘World Environment Day’ is celebrated at Padua College of Commerce and Management

Mangaluru: The YRC Unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management celebrated World Environment Day on June 6, 2024.

Mr Jeeth Milan Roche, a renowned environmentalist, was the chief guest and the resource person for the program. Mr Jeeth inspired students to preserve and conserve trees and forests. He emphasized that the youth should be responsible for the environment.

The president of the program, Rev. Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, addressed the gathering and motivated students to plant a sapling whenever they get the opportunity. The program was inaugurated by dignitaries planting a sapling. Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, Vice Principal and YRC Coordinator; Prof. Akshatha and Mrs Zeena Asst, YRC Coordinators; YRC student president Ms Farah; and Secretary Mr Manju were present for the program.

The program was attended by all the YRC volunteers. The program was compered by Ms Sparshitha, a YRC volunteer.
