Mangaluru, February 7, 2025 – The Department of Clinical Psychology at St. Agnes Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research (Autonomous) organized an insightful workshop on the ‘Counselling Process’ for clinical psychology students. The event aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and practical skills in counseling.

The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Jennifer Carlo, Assistant Professor at Yenapoya Deemed to be University, Mudipu, Mangaluru. A distinguished resource person in the field, Mrs. Carlo shared her expertise on essential counseling skills, emphasizing the importance of effective communication, active listening, and empathy in establishing a strong client-therapist relationship.

The session also covered various theoretical models of counseling, offering students a comprehensive understanding of approaches used in professional practice.
