Workshop on Competitive Exams and Private Sector Careers Held at St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur
Puttur, May 28: St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, in collaboration with the Vidhyamatha Foundation, organized an insightful workshop on “Competitive Examinations and Private Employment Opportunities” at the PG Seminar Hall. The event aimed to empower students with essential information, strategies, and motivation to pursue careers in both the government and private sectors.
The workshop was presided over by the Vice Principal of the College, Dr Vijay Kumar Moleyar, who addressed the gathering with a compelling message on the importance of competitive examinations in shaping the future of today’s youth. He urged students to adopt a focused and disciplined approach to preparation, emphasizing that success in such exams could open doors to prestigious government careers.





The keynote session was delivered by Mr Bhagyesh Rai, founder of the Vidhyamatha Foundation, Puttur. Drawing from his experience, Mr Rai offered comprehensive guidance on a wide range of career paths, including opportunities in government services and private sector employment. He also shared practical tips and training methodologies to help students prepare effectively for competitive exams.
Students from various postgraduate departments actively participated in the program. It began with a formal welcome by Sharanya, followed by a prayer by Pranamya, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Neha. The proceedings were compered by Sneha Jacob Rose.
