Udupi: MCC Bank holds blessing ceremony of renovated Udupi Branch premsies and customer meet
Udupi: The renovated MCC Bank Ltd, Udupi branch was blessed on 11th February 2020 at 4.30 PM at 1st Floor, Sri Ram Arcade, Udupi. The branch was blessed by Very Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonca, Vicar Forence, Udupi Deanery and wished the bank.
After blessing branch has organized a customers’ meet. The customer meet was presided over by Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank Ltd. The customer meet was inaugurated by Joseph Noronha, Retired Assistant General Manager of Syndicate Bank by lighting the lamp along with Chairman Anil Lobo, vice Chairman Jerald Jude D’Silva and General Manager Sunil Menezes. Directors Marcel Mathew D’Souza, Andrew D’Souza, David D’Souza, Dr Freeda Flavia D’Souza and Dy General Manager Raj Francis Menezes, Branch Manager Owin Rebello were on the dias.
Elroy Kiran Crasto, Udupi Branch support Director who celebrated 50th birthday on 23.01.2020 was felicitated on behalf of Udupi Branch Staff.
The customers were asked to share their views and experiences in the meet. John Sequeira requested the bank to raise the limit of housing loan from Rs.25 lakhs and introduce clean overdraft facility. He appreciated the service of the branch staff. Sathyanarayan Shet requested the bank to enhance the Jewel loan facility from Rs.2 Lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion Joseph Noronha congratulated the new Management for the growth of the Bank and for the introduction of all facilities, like ATM, RTGS/NEFT, Mobile Banking, SMS alert, E-stamping, CTS facility, etc. He has given some tips to the employees of the bank, like Indentify the customer by name, inform the credit balance of the customer in time, visit the workplace of the customers periodically, attend the community function whenever invited, handle the customer grievances, recovery of NPA etc. He has also given some tips to the customers, like, meet the branch occasionally, give proper suggestion any time for the development of the bank, canvass accounts to the bank, don’t criticise the bank openly, maintain the confidentiality, etc. He wished well for the administration of the bank.
Anil Lobo, chairman of the bank urged support from the customers in order to achieve the progress of the Bank. He also requested the customer to give valuable suggestions at any time for the devel-opment of the bank. He appreciated the performance of the Udupi branch for achieving the target set for the branch. “If customer, Management and employees work together, bank will definitely develop and achieve the growth” he said.
