Triad of Celebration at Mount Carmel Central School – Karnataka Rajyotsava, Rashtriya Ektha Diwas and Deepavali
Mangaluru: After a long wait of 18 months, Mount Carmel Central School had a triad of celebration – Karnataka Rajyotsava, Rashtriya Ektha Diwas and Deepavali by the students in the School auditorium. The programme commenced invoking God’s blessings. The students of class VI B and C highlighted the significance of the tri-celebration showcasing their patriotism and talent in their powerful performance at the cultural programme. A few students of class I to III gave a short, yet sensitizing performance on National Unity Day. The students took the pledge administered by Rochelle to preserve the unity of our country.
The Chief Guest of the day Sr. Meena Fernandes A.C, teacher of our School in her message urged the students to love learning kannada and to take pride in the culture of Karnataka. She reminded the students to contribute in their own little way towards building an united India. Students Akanksha, Niharika and Royden compeered the programme. Prajwal gave a heartwarming welcome and Alwin delivered the vote of thanks. The winners of AICS inter school IT Quiz and WWF Quiz were felicitated during the programme. The programme ended singing to the tune of the Naada Geethe, Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujathe.
