Third Day Novena prior to Feast of St Lawrence held at Bondel Church, Mangalore

Mangaluru, Aug 03: Third Day Novena prior to Feast of St Lawrence was held at Bondel Church, Mangalore. Theme of 3rd  Day was “Love is the Joy of family life . “

Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis   Parish Priest, Derebail Church  was the main celebrant, Rev Fr Andrew Leo D’souza, Rev Fr Gregory Pinto were Concelebrants .

Rev Fr . Joseph Martis   called on the devotees of St Lawrence “In Eph. 5:25, Paul said, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church.” He then explained how Christ showed this love. Paul said that Christ “gave himself for” the church. He sacrificed himself on the cross. This love therefore is a self-sacrificial love. It is a self-sacrificial love that is rooted on the cross. Three acts of marriage  First, Marriage is Giving Sacrificial Love .Second  Marriage is Seeking Your Happiness Third, and last, Marriage is Seeking Your Happiness in Her Happiness.

10.30 am mass  the Choir was from Infant Jesus Shrine under the leadership of Mr Simon.

5.00 pm  mass offered by Rev Fr Vinod Lobo Asst Parish Priest Rosario Cathedral. The Choir was from Milagres Parish.

 During the mass Prayers offered for the married couples.
