The National Level Techno Cultural Fest TIARA 2024 successfully concluded at St Joseph Engineering College
Mangaluru: TIARA 2024, the three-day Techno Cultural Fest organized by St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, was successfully concluded on May 11, 2024, at the College Basketball Court with a colorful award ceremony followed by DJ Night by popular DJ Aerreo.
Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director of SJEC; Rev. Fr Kenneth R. Crasta, Assistant Director; Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal of SJEC; Dr Purushothama Chippar, Vice Principal; and Mr Rakesh Lobo, HR Manager of the college, were present during the valedictory programme on May 11, 2024, along with the staff conveners of the Fest, Mr Roopesh and Ms Chaitra U R. The student conveners of the event, Mr Vinol A. D’Souza and Ms Alva Shwetha Shivaprasad, were also present on the occasion.
The three-day fest witnessed the participation of students from across the region in a series of technical, non-technical, and cultural events displaying their skills and competencies. Apart from the techno-cultural events, the major attractions of the fest included the Battle of Bands and Battle of DJs on the first day, the cultural program, and the award ceremony on the third day.
The prizes and trophies for all the events held over the three days of the fest were given away during the award ceremony. AJIET, Mangalore, bagged the overall championship in the engineering category, while NMAMIT, Nitte, was awarded as the overall runner-up.
Under the non-engineering category, SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, won the overall championship, and St. Agnes College, Mangalore, bagged the overall runners-up trophy.
The management of SJEC congratulated the prize winners of the event Tiara 2024 and appreciated the efforts of the organising committee of Tiara 2024 for the grand success of the event. Ms.Sweedel & Mr.Aveen Compered the program.
