The ICYM Bondel unit organises Smash It Up Badminton Tournament for Bondel Parishioners

Mangaluru: The ICYM Bondel unit organised a Smash it Up Badminton Tournament for Bondel Parishioners on February 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Global Badminton Arena in Vamanjoor.

The inaugural programme began at 11 a.m. with a prayer. Alrick D’Silva welcomed the gathering. 

Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest  – St Lawrence Church, in his presidential speech, wished good luck to all the participants. Mr Surjith was the Refree of the competition. There were 12 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams participated in the tournament.

Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves, Director of the ICYM Bondel Unit, and Rev. Fr Lancy D’Souza, -Asst Parish Priest Bondel, were present.

Competition was held for men’s doubles & women’s doubles.

The results of the matches are:

Men’s Double’s:
Winners: Calvin and Stephen
Runners: Fr. Peter and Gration

Women Doubles:
Winners: – Joylin and Lanuwin
Runners: Sunitha and Sweedal.
