The Colour of Love and Smiles Illuminate the Air at Mount Carmel Nursery with Energy, Vigour and Exuberance

Mangaluru: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, celebrated “Red Day” for pre-nursery and nursery children on July 10, 2024, to introduce the children to the mesmerizing realm of red. The red colour made the tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful. 

Indeed, it was red, red, and red at MCCS pre-school premises—red dresses, red roses, red balloons, red toys, and to add to it, a spectacular display of bulletin boards and corridors decorated with red things.

The ‘Red Day’ began with a prayer, a prayer song followed by little ones singing the Red Day song “My Red Balloon.” Some children dressed themselves as apples, strawberries, tomatoes, teddy bears, shapes, cherries, umbrellas, caps, balls, etc. and gave a brief description of each object. 

To learn more about the colour red, they took part in activities that involved crushing, tearing, or dabbing paper. All the kids participated actively and were excited to stick them in a given picture. Special snacks were bought by the children related to the colour the color red, and they had the joy of sharing them with one another. It was time to learn and share as well.

The tiny tots understood the significance of the red colour, the colour of love and smiles, and illuminated the campus at Mount Carmel Nursery Section with energy, vigour and exuberance.
