The 1973 and 1974 Batches of SAC held the Golden Reunion

Mangaluru: The Golden Jubilee Reunion of the 1973 & 1974 Batches of St Aloysius College, Mangalore, held on January 11, 2024, in the LF Rasquinha hall. The esteemed chief guest was Rev. Fr Melwin Pinto SJ, and the event was presided over by Rev. Fr Praveen Martis SJ, the Principal of St Aloysius College, Mangalore, along with Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Registrar and Controller of Examination, Prof. Victor and the staff coordinators, Dr Florin Shelomith Soans, and Ms Renita Fernandes.

During the ceremony, the 1973 as well as 1974 batches were honoured with mementos in their graduation gowns. Following this, two students from each batch, Mr Shrinivas Shenoy and Mr Pramod Fernandes, shared their experiences as students at St Aloysius College.

Rev. Fr Melwin Pinto SJ, the Chief Guest, shared his thoughts on the significance of the Golden Jubilee.

Rev. Fr Praveen Martis SJ, Principal of the College, addressed the graduates, expressing his viewpoints on the event and acknowledging the contributions of the alumni, particularly appreciating the affection shown by the 1973 and 1974 students towards their alma mater.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Victor reminisced about his time as a lecturer at St Aloysius College, highlighting the significant contributions the college has made to his life’s journey.

Mr Manoj Dyson Fernandes, Faculty of BBA, compered the program. Mr Conrad T. Nazareth delivered the vote of thanks.
