Student Cabinet and NSS Unit Inaugurated at Rosa Mystica PU College

Mangaluru: The student cabinet and NSS inaugural of Rosa Mystica PU College for the Academic year 2023–24 was held on June 21st in the college auditorium. The college was privileged to have Charles Pais, Retired professor and NSS programme officer at St. Agnes’s College Mangaluru, as a chief guest, and Sri Vinaya Karanth, PTA vice president, Correspondent of Rosamystica Institution, Sr. Gracy Monica B.S., and Principal of the college, Sr.Sadhana B.S were present on this occasion.

The event began with a formal march of the new council members led by Nafeesathul Misriya (CPL of the college) and Sumiksha (ACPL). The students led the gathering into an opening chorus and prayer service. The programme started with an inaugural dance and song. 

The chief guest was introduced and welcomed by the principal, Sr.Sadhana B.S. The oath-taking ceremony was administered by the Principal. And badges and sashes were given to each of the cabinet members by the institution’s correspondent, Sr.Gracy Monica B.S. The chief guest, Charles Pais, along with the guest Vinaya Karanth, the programme president, Sr.Gracy Monica, and the principal, Sr. Sadhana B.S., Nafeesathul Misriya College CPL, and Sumiksha ACPL, illuminated the light of leadership by lighting the lamp.

The student cabinet was inaugurated by the institution’s correspondent,  Sr.Gracy Monica, by opening pingara. Along with the cabinet inauguration, the NSS club was also inaugurated with the NSS theme chart by the chief guest, and the NSS flag was handed over to NSS unit leaders Thapaswini and Jithesh by Sr.Sadhana B.S.

Mr. Charles Pais, chief guest of the programme, congratulated the newly elected members, highlighted the importance of leadership qualities, and their responsibilities in various fields.

Mr. Vinaya Karanth, PTA vice president, stimulated students with his inspiring words. And then, Sr.Gracy Monica, in her presidential address, informed students that they should have gratitude for what they receive in life.

The ceremony was hosted by Mr.Avil Renil D’silva, NSS coordinator, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Nafeesathul Misriya. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
