St Philomena College (Autonomous) Athletes Shine at Mangalore University Inter-Collegiate Powerlifting Championship

Puttur, May 28: St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, has added another feather to its cap with commendable performances by its athletes at the Mangalore University Inter-Collegiate Powerlifting Championship, held recently at SMS College, Brahmavar.
Ranjith Kumar, a II B.A. student, clinched the silver medal in the 105 kg weight category, while Shabarish, a III B.Com student, secured the bronze medal in the 93 kg category.
The Principal of St Philomena College, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, congratulated the student achievers for bringing laurels to the institution through their dedication and hard work. The news was shared in an official statement by Dr Elias Pinto, Director of Physical Education at the college.
