St Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu all set to celebrate the feast of Relic of St Anthony

Mangaluru: Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha will bless the foundation stone at 11 a.m of main gate to be constructed at the entrance at St Anthony’s Ashram and then will celebrate the festive mass at 11.30 at the Ashram Chapel. Though St Anthony died in the 13th century his tongue is still incorrupt. The Catholic Church and the devotees believe that this is a miracle God has shown in him for the wonderful work he did during his earthly life.
St Anthony’s Ashram has conducted the devotion of St Anthony in Mangalore during the past 124 years. People from different walks of life irrespective religion, language, nationality have approached the shrine and have obtained material as well as spiritual benefits from this devotion.
