St Agnes PU College holds a career guidance program- “Navigator”

Mangaluru: The career guidance program “Navigator” was organized by the Department of Mathematics at St Agnes PU College for 2nd PUC science students and their parents on August 10th in the auditorium. It was a significant event aimed at providing insights into various career paths.
The program began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Ms Carol, Lecturer, Dept. of Mathematics, compered the program ably. Mrs Chaithanya Nayak, Lecturer in physics, skillfully moderated the sessions.
Dr Aqueela, Assistant Professor at Yenepoya University, provided details on the scopes of clinician, nursing, pharmacy programs, hospital administration, and many more. She also threw light on the profusion of newer opportunities available to students in the field of medical and paramedical courses.
Mrs Smitha Maria D’Souza, Assistant Professor, St Joseph Engineering College, provided insights into the various Engineering courses and provided information on the criteria for engineering entrance exams, shedding light on their respective merits and opportunities.
Dr Vincent Crasta, Assistant Professor, St Joseph Engineering College, emphasized the various Bachelor courses available after completion of PUC. Students, in addition to the conventional choices, received a wide range of information about their respective combinations, which they can opt for after their 2nd PUC.
Ms Rachel Maria Pais extended her gratitude by proposing a vote of thanks.
Overall, the program provided valuable information to students about their career choices, emphasizing the importance of education as the foundation for their future endeavors.
