St Agnes College, Autonomous Mangaluru organises Fresher’s Day – 2k23

Mangaluru: St Agnes College Autonomous Mangalore organised Fresher’s Day – 2k23 on September 4, 2023, with the objective of providing a platform for the first-year students to showcase their talents. It began by invoking God’s blessings through prayer. The occasion was graced by Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C., Principal; Sr Clara A.C., Vice Principal; and Sr Carmel Rita A.C., Administrator, with the faculty and Freshers present.

Students from various streams performed on multiple creative themes. The programme evoked an enthusiastic response from the students and provided them with a wide canvas of opportunities to exhibit their talents. The first-year BBA students won the competition. The Principal addressed the students and encouraged them to move forward with vigour and enthusiasm.

As all traditions need to be followed, the beautiful blend of ideas was concluded by crowning Alric Nazareth and Thanmayee Bhatt as Mr and Miss Fresher, for which the hunt had begun a week before by organising various exciting competitions like Quiz,Turn Court (pick and speech), and Mock Press by the student cabinet. A treasure hunt competition was also organised for all the students, and the winners turned out to be Sona Alex and group.

The whole program was compered by Ananya Madhu, of first-year B.Sc. The overall event was a great success and a happy moment for all the fresher’s present.
