St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru celebrates Students Day

Mangaluru, May 11, 2022: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru celebrated Students day with the theme Fandom, to be the star they aspire for the day.

The programme began with a prayer. Miss Sarah Monis, Vice President MA English, welcomed the gathering.  Sr Dr M. Venissa A.C. the Principal, Sr Clara A.C. the Vice-principal, Sr Dr Vinora A.C. the Coordinator for P.G. Studies, Sr Carmel Rita A.C. the Administrator, Mrs Malavika Shetty the Cabinet in-charge and Head of the Department of Computer Applications & Computer Science and Ms Rhea and Ms Sharon – the Student Presidents of UG and PG inaugurated the programme by clapping the clapperboard. The PG and UG cabinet members dressed as characters from various movies and shows such as Hermione from Harry Potter, Ram and Leela from Ramleela, Dora the Explorer, Lisa from Blackpink and many more characters put up a stunning performance.

Agnes Got Talent was held were students showcased their talents from singing to dancing and many more. In the afternoon the teaching and non-teaching faculty put up a great performance with  graceful movements,  melodious voices and humorous skits.

This was followed by prize distribution to the winners of the competitions held by the various associations. Students with 100% attendance were also honoured.

Akanksha Shetty the Vice President of B.B.A., delivered the vote of thanks. The programme concluded by singing the College Anthem.
