Sri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, visits the Minor Basalica of Our Lady of Health, Harihar
Davanagere, June 25, 2024: Sri Thawar Chand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, visited the Minor Basalica of Our Lady of Health, Harihar, today (June 25th) at 1 p.m. and took the blessings from Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of the Diocese of Shimoga.
He was accompanied by the Very Rev. Fr George K. A., Rector of Our Lady of Health, Minor Basilica of Harihar. It was a historical moment for the Diocese of Shimoga. The children of Maria Nivas School gladly welcomed him with flowers. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ honoured him with a shawl and garland.
He came to inaugurate St. Aloysius International School and PU College at 12 p.m. We are greatly honoured by his gesture of visiting the historic and world-famous Marian Shrine in Harihar.
