“Snehalaya celebrates 12th anniversary”

Mangaluru: Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mangalore commemorated its 12th anniversary at the Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre, Bachalike, Manjeshwar on 26th August 2021.

Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao, Bishop of Shimoga Diocese offered thanks giving Mass. Rev Fr. Frankline D Souza, Fr. Andrew D Souza, Fr. Stany Pereira, Fr. Vincent Saldanha and Fr. Felix Norohna con celebrated the Mass.

The Bishop said, the day is not a day to celebrate but to Thank God for the immense blessing showered on the Founder, Shri. Joseph Crasta, his family, his team, staff and the institution. It is rich experience to be here to see that Gods work is being carried out here.

On the 12th anniversary day of Snehalaya a newly built community Kitchen of Snehalaya was inaugurated by Shri. AKM Ashraf, the honorable MLA of Manjeshwar. Most Rev Dr. Francis Serrao, Bishop of Shivamoga Blessed the new Kitchen and the equipments.

Shri CH Kunhambu, Honorable MLA of Uduma constituency inaugurated the sewage water Treatment Plant.

Shri. Joylus D Souza, Chairman, Christian welfare Board, Govt. of Karnataka, Smt. Gean Lavina Monteiro President, Manjeshwar Grama Panchayath, Shri. Roy Castelino, PRO of Mangalore Diocese, Mr. Harishchandra Manjeshwar, former block Panchayath, Vice President, Mr. K.R Jayanand CPM, District secretariat Member, Mr. Moosa, ward member, Manjeshwar, Rev. Fr. Vincent Saldanha, Parish Priest, Manjeshwar Church,Mr. Anil Lobo, Chairman, MCC Bank, Rav. Fr. Stany Pereira, Vicar Forane, Kasaragod Zone, Rev. Fr. Felix Noronha, Chaplain Snehalaya were present as guests.
The Bishop in his message said it is only 12 years of journey so far and miles to go, but huge achievements, dedicated service and God is Leading the organization on right path. He wished that the organization to grow strong and wide for hundreds of years.

Shri AKM Ashraf, the inaugurator appreciated that the kitchen is well equipped with modern infra and mechanized equipment with international standards. He assured his complete support as the work carried out by Joseph and Team is divine.

Shri Joseph Crasta welcomed the Guests with the key note address, Mrs. Veena D Souza administrator presented the glimpses of 12 years. Smt. Olivia Crasta, secretary of Snehalaya proposed vote of thanks. Shri Rafiq Master compared the formal stage program .

The guests, donors and workers were honored with mementoes.
