SJEC Men’s Wrestling Team wins Third Place in Overall Wrestling Championship

Mangaluru: St Joseph Engineering College Men’s Wrestling team participated in the VTU State Level Wrestling & Judo Championship organized by KLS VDIT, Haliyal, on November 21 & 22, 2023. The SJEC College wrestling team bagged third place in the overall wrestling championship under the leadership of Ms Vaneesha Rodrigues, PED, and Mr Sudheer M., Assistant PED. SJEC.

1. Mr Hrithik Chand, I year MBA, secured 1 Place in below 125 kg category Wrestling Championship.
2. Mr Nandeesh Vasanth Patgar, IV year Electronics & Communication Engineering, secured Second Place in the below 65 kg category Wrestling Championship.
3. Mr Jemin Sebastian III year Electronics & Communication Engineering,secured Second Place in below 79 kg category at the Wrestling Championship.
4. Mr Mohammed Mazar, IV year Civil Engineering,secured Third Place in below 74 kg category Wrestling Championship.
5. Mr Abdul Mukshith, IV year Mech Engineering, secured Third Placein below 92 kg category Wrestling Championship.
6. Ms Shanika Graces, I year CSBS, secured Third Place in below 68 kg category Wrestling the wrestling championship.
7. Mr Mohammed Mazar, IV year Civil Engineering,secured third place in the below-73 kg category of the Judo Championship.
