SJEC Men’s Team Bagged the Runner-Up Trophy in the Overall Men’s VTU State Level Powerlifting Championship

Mangaluru: St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) Men’s Team bagged the runner-up trophy in the overall men’s VTU state-level powerlifting championship. Mr Dhawan Rai from II-year Electronics & Communication Engineering has secured Gold in the VTU State Level below 59 kg category for the Powerlifting Championship, and Mr Hrithik Chand from II-year Master of Business Administration secured Gold in the VTU State Level below 120 kg category for the Powerlifting Championship held on July 10 and 11, 2024, at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru, under the guidance of the Physical Education Director (PED), Ms Vaneesha V Rodrigues, and Assistant PED, Mr Sudheer M.
