PTA General Body Meeting held at Holy Redeemer English Medium School

Belthangady: The annual general body meeting of the PTA was held at Holy Redeemer School on July 13th in the school auditorium.

The program began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song sung by the students. Jonita Correa welcomed the gathering. PTA secretary Pallavi read the annual report.

Blendin Rodrigues conducted the honouring ceremony for the SSLC toppers of the 2023–24 board examination. Toppers Veona Rego, Janis Vinisha DSouza, and Nija Kulal were honoured for their achievements.

May Suja conducted an honouring ceremony for students who secured 100% attendance in the previous academic year.

Newly appointed teachers for various subjects were introduced.

Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Simon Pinto gave an overview of the rules, regulations, and activities planned for the present academic year. Correspondent Very Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello, in his address, motivated the parents to encourage students and guide them.

Resource person Mr Aravind Chokkadi, graduate assistant at Morarji Desai School, Mundaje, a renowned writer and orator, was introduced by Elvita Pais. In the session, he put forth insights on how to handle the present generation of children.

Suggestions and queries from parents were taken and discussed. 

Akida Banu proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded by singing the school anthem. Refreshments were served after the meeting.
