“PHILO FREESIA 2023” Talents’ Day: A Cluster of Cultural Bonanza by PG Students
Puttur: The Centre for PG Studies and Research St Philomena College Puttur organised “PHILO FREESIA 2023” Talents Day at the SJM hall of the college recently. The principal, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Inaugurated the cultural event by lighting the sacred lamp.
President of the programme, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal, said in his inaugural address that involving oneself in the various activities amidst the busy study schedules will help in the formation of personality. It gives strength in managing one’s problems to be free from tension and anxiety. It also gives scope to think out of the box, keeping the mind and soul fresh and light. One should never rust at rest because iron can spoil itself by rusting itself. In this regard, organising this Talents day is a welcome thing”.
Rev. Fr Stany Pinto, Campus Director of the College Prof. Ganesh Bhat, Vice Principal and Dean of Science, Dr A. P. Radhakrishna, Vice Principal, and IQAC Coordinator, were the Guests of Honour.
Student Welfare Officer Sheetal Kumar welcomed, and Prithvi K., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce, proposed a vote of thanks. Shreeraaga H and team rendered the prayer. Arpitha of Second M.Com. compered the Programme. Students of various departments exhibited their cultural talents in Philo freesia 2k23.
