Parish Day celebrated at Our Lady of Miracles Church, Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The parishioners, along with the clergy and the religious of Milagres parish, celebrated Parish Day on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, the principal of Padua College, Mangaluru, was the main celebrant for the Thanksgiving mass, joined by the clergy of the parish and Fr Royston Madtha, S.J. Fr Arun’s homily focused on preparing our hearts and minds for Jesus.

After the Eucharistic celebration, the parishioners had a cultural evening exhibiting the talents of all, from the young to the old. Children performed dances and musical skits, and YCS and ICYM members entertained the gathering with their splendid dance medleys. Mothers danced to the tune of Konkani folklore music, and other parishioners took part in a comedy play.

The parishioners and guests were later treated to a sumptuous meal prepared by the parishioners, and the program ended with traditional Baila dancing.
