Padua College of Commerce and Management, Mangaluru, hosts Traditional Day
Mangaluru: The Cultural Club of Padua College of Commerce and Management,Nanthur , Mangaluru, hosted Traditional Day on May 25, 2024. The day began with a procession led by team Avyam Kalasamithi Chende, followed by the inaugural program, which was presided over by the Principal Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo.
The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Arun Ullal, Asst. Prof. Dept. of Kannada, St. Agnes College, Mangaluru, whose message included urging students to be familiar with our languages, Kannada and Tulu. The other dignitaries on the Dias were Vice Principal Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, Cultural Club Coordinators Ms. Seema Pereira and Mrs. Reshma Dsouza, and Student Representatives Ms. Chaitra and Mr. Clide.
The day also consisted of several fun games for the students, like dressing up in a saree and fashion show, lemon in the spoon race, three-legged race, reverse running race, filling the water, gherkins and toothpicks, and bursting the balloon race. The day was concluded with a Lagoori game between staff and students.
